The Magic don't have a pick this year, but we will talk about them anyway as they are a great example of team that is built around one star player. Dwight Howard was a surprise pick by the Magic in the 2004 draft. The Magic were expected to pick Emeka Okafor. Just a few seasons ago, the Magic went 21-61 and now they are legit title contenders after knocking off the Cleveland Cavaliers AND the Boston Celtics in this seasons playoffs. They couldn't pull off the championship though, losing to the Lakers in 5 games. The Magic are an excellent 3-point shooting team, but their players need to be more physical. Courtney Lee had a fantastic rookie season and will develop into a star for the Magic. Once Jameer Nelson is completely recovered from surgery and if their bench would develop more, I could see them easily winning a title in the next 3-5 seasons.
