Boston Celtics 2009 Draft

Just 3 seasons ago, the powerful Celtics were only 24-58, suffering one of NBA history's most devastating losing streaks. The Celtics have done a great job building a championship caliber team and doing it quickly. Kevin Garnett, though, is injury prone and because of this I do not see the Celtics winning another championship behind the Big 3 of Boston. The Celtics only have one pick in this year's draft.

At pick #58 the Celtics should draft:
Nando De Colo - France
PG/SG
6'5" 190 lbs.

De Colo is a weak player and does not have the speed needed in an NBA caliber point guard and the does not have the consistent stroke of an NBA caliber shooting guard. This is why I have him going 58th to Boston, where he will not play. He will spend plenty of time for several seasons in the NBDL.

Predicted 2009-2010 record: 55-27
