The Los Angeles Clippers are just flat-out horrible. They have a star PG in Baron Davis and solid players in Al Thornton, Eric Gordon, and Chris Kaman, but outside of those 4, the Clippers have nobody. It is no surprise that they landed this year's #1 pick, their only pick of the draft. No matter who were to get the #1 pick, I think it's obvious who they would draft.
At pick #1 the Clippers should draft:
Blake Griffin - Oklahoma
PF
6'10" 248 lbs.
Griffin is the obvious choice for the #1 pick this season. He currently compares to Antonio McDyess. I will summarize Griffin by saying that his free throw shooting needs A LOT of help and he is not a fantastic shooter either, but everything else about him is outstanding. He is athletic, aggressive, passionate, great rebounder, great inside scorer, great size and strength to play in the NBA, and has a great midrange shot. It would be a shock if Griffin does not go #1!
